Essex Fresh Start is a successful independent day school for 40 pupils who cannot be educated within local authority provision based on three sites across Essex. The School offers a specialist curriculum designed to meet the educational, therapeutic and behavioural needs of key stage 4 SEBD pupils and has recently had a successful OFSTED inspection in which it was judged to be 'good' with outstanding features.
You will be a visionary individual, passionate about creating a centre of excellence, with the ability to lead by example. You should have the knowledge to develop, resource and manage the delivery of, a curriculum suitable to the needs of SEBD pupils across Key Stages 3/4. The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and parents/carers, staff and other partners including Essex County Council are a prerequisite for success together with excellent organisational and financial skills.
