SalaryRange£20,000 - £22,000 paid pro-rata
TC Education Services is opening a new registered special school in the London Borough of Brent in September 2008 to cater for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties in the North West London area.
The school will offer access to the full national curriculum as well as a range of enrichment activities which are a highly valued feature of the provision. Pupils will have the opportunity to attain accreditation in a number subjects through a range of awards as well as the opportunity to study at GCSE level.
You will provide support to the classroom teachers including planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals and small groups, monitoring students and assessing, recording and reporting on achievements, progress and development. In addition you will help pupils to manage their behaviour and develop social skills. You will also provide formal advice and guidance to teaching assistants.
TC Education Services offer an extensive training and development programme to all staff including 5 personal development days per year and a comprehensive induction programme.
